ShopRite Nutmeg State Games is proud to host the
2025 Connecticut State Youth Championships!

Tournament Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Check-in and Equipment Inspection 
  • Six Ends - All Divisions
  • Lunch Break
  • Six Ends - All Divisions 
  • Award Ceremony
  • The tournament will be a Single Distance Outdoor Tournament.
  • A single Round (72 arrows). 
  • Please Note: An award ceremony will be held after the conclusion of the Tournament
  • Bowman/U13:  Archers can shoot in the Bowmen Division through the calendar year of their 12th birthday.
    •  (Recurve) 30 Meters - 122cm Full Faced Target
    •  (Compound) 30 Meters - 80cm 6-Ring Target
    • (Barebow) 30 Meters - 122cm Full Faced Target
  • Cub/U15:  Archers are eligible to shoot in the Cub Division through the calendar year of their 14th birthday
    • Cub (Recurve) 40 Meters - 122cm Full Faced Target
    • Cub (Compound) 40 Meters - 80cm 6-Ring Target
    • Cub (Barebow) 30 Meters - 122cm Full Faced Target
  • Cadet/U18:  Archers are eligible to shoot in the Cadet Division through the calendar year of their 17th birthday
    • Cadet (Recurve) 60 Meters - 122cm Full Faced Target
    • Cadet (Compound) 50 Meters - 80cm 6-Ring Target
    • Cadet (Barebow) 50 Meters - 122 Full Faced Target
  • Junior/U21:  Archers are eligible to shoot in the Junior Division through the calendar year of their 20th birthday
    • Junior (Recurve) 70 Meters - 122cm Full Faced Target
    • Junior (Compound) 50 Meters - 80cm 6-Ring Target
    • Junior (Barebow) 50M - 122 Full Face Target
  • Senior: (Any age can enter as a senior) 
    • Senior (Recurve) 70 Meters -  70 Meters - 122cm Full Faced Target
    • Senior (Compound) 50 Meters - 80cm 6-Ring Target
    • Senior (Barebow) 50 Meters - 112cm Full Faced Target
  • Masters 50+
    • ​Recurve: 60 Meters 122 Full Faced Target
    • Compound: 50 Meters 80cm 6 Ring Target
    • Barebow: 50 Meters, 122cm Full Faced Target

​Connecticut State Youth Championship awarded to Connecticut Residents Only

Nutmeg Medalists from this event qualify to participate at the State Games of America. Athletes from surrounding states are welcome to participate and medal, but may only shoot in one State Games event per year for the purposes of qualifying for the State Games of America. Athlete Code of Conduct
  • No alcoholic beverages or illegal substances are permitted in the possession of athletes.
  • Any person associated with the "Games" must follow the highest standards in behavior on and off the competition field.
  • Using foul or abusive language violates the Code of Conduct.
  • All athletes must respect the decisions of the officials and umpires during and after competitions.  Any harassment will constitute a violation of the Code of Conduct.
  • Unruly behavior by spectators towards players, coaches, volunteers, and/or officials will not be tolerated.  Such behavior may result in the dismissal of the offending spectator from the competition site.
  • Any participant’s behavior deemed violating the Code of Conduct, as the Nutmeg State Games administrative staff decided, subjects the competitor to expulsion from the "Games."
